The HoldFast Ranger Leash is designed to be either hands free, or you can even change the loop size to go right over your wrist. It’s made out of a solid piece of 10-12 oz leather (same as our Bridle Leather MoneyMaker), which is VERY durable but will age beautifully. What I love most about this leather is that the dog feels even the slightest bit of manipulation with the leash, so a gentle tug and the dog will feel it and respond. Nylon or bungi options just don’t give you the amount of control that the Ranger Leash will. I can set the distance for where I think the dog should be, throw over the shoulder and go. I even work around the shop with Ranger attached so he knows I’m the pack leader and to stay near me or my family.

I knew I wanted Ranger to learn to stay close on my left side on walks and such, but we also have 3 kids and I LOVE keeping my hands free to help the kids if they need.
